If you visit our island and you like nature, we recommend you take a walk through the Albufera de Mallorca Natural Park (in the island’s own language we call it Parc Natural de S’Albufera) as it is a protected natural area located in the northern part of the island, specifically in the municipalities of Muro and Sa Pobla. It is the largest and most important wetland area of \u200b\u200bthe Balearic Islands, an old lagoon separated from the sea by a chain of dunes, which, for many centuries, especially in the last two and due to human influence, has been filled with sediments to become an extensive floodplain.<\/p>\n
